Student Induction Programme for B Tech freshers inaugurated

The AICTE mandated ten-day Student Induction Programme on “Universal Human Values” for B Tech Freshers of Vidya of the year 2020 was formally inaugurated in an online programme held on 18 November 2020. The Induction Programme has been scheduled to be conducted during 18 – 28 November 2020.

The newly admitted students and their parents were warmly welcomed by Dr N Ramachandran (Prof and Head, ME Dept). Dr Saji C B, Principal presided over the function. Dr Santhosh Prasannan, Chairman, VICT, formally inaugurated the programme. Mr Sureshlal, Administration and Finance Director, Mr Sabu Soumian, Executive Committee Memeber, VICT, Dr Sudha Balagopalan, Dean-Academics, Dr V N Krishnachandran, Vice-Principal and Mr Suresh Karun, President, PTA, felicitated the programme. Mr Hareesh K (AP, ME Dept and Convener, Sameeksha) proposed vote of thanks.

Sameeksha, the Trainers’ Club of Vidya, is coordinating the entire Induction Programme.

One of the major aims of this programme is to build the foundation for a strong mentor-mentee relation. Through the building of such a relation, every student will be able to accomplish their best, both inside as well as outside the campus.
