Vidya’s Placement staff reach out to every student individually

In an effort to impart a greater momentum to the to placement efforts of Vidya’s students, the staff of the Placement Dept of Vidya under the leadership of the Dept Head Mr Paul Chackola organised a series of interactive online sessions with the students of the 2022 pass out batch. Each class of the 2022 pass out batch was addressed separately and each student of each class was quizzed on his/her aspirations and preparations for securing a placement. It must have been a difficult task for the Placement staff, but it must have been a very rewarding exercise for them and more importantly to the students. The Group Tutors of the respective classes were also present along with the students. This marathon exercise was started on 31 July 2021 and would be concluded on 13 August 2021.

After each session, the Placement Dept gave a report on the the session to the respective heads of Depts. the reports highlighted the overall assessment of the placement readiness of the students and also the areas which need further strengthening to improve chances for securing a coveted placement.
