Six hundred students write NEET in Vidya
As many as six hundred candidates wrote the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) in Vidya. NEET is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.
The examination was conducted in full compliance with the Covid standards. The police authorities had restricted traffic on the Kaiparambu-Thalakottukara road due to congestion created by the influx of such a large number of candidates to Vidya. A team led by the Principal Dr C B Saji, Chief Superintendent Mr K R Anil Kumar, Additional Superintendent Mr Anil M, Assistant Superintendent Mr Manu P R and National Testing Agency observers Mr Mijoy Jose and Mr Minto Varghese conducted the examination.
