ECE Dept conducts One Day Hands-on Training on ‘Robotics 101’ for school students

The Dept of ECE  gives maximum support to create an intensive educational experience to the  school students by conducting hands-on training, workshop etc .

The hands-on training ‘ROBOTICS 101’ which aimed at introducing basic and advanced concepts related to robotics to students from Amritha Vidyalayam,Panchikkal,Thrissur was conducted on 07  January 2023 with the support of  IEDC  (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center). The session was led by S5 students, Augustine K Lazar (S5, ECE Dept) and Jeeva Haridasan (S5, ECE Dept).

Familiarisation of android board, programming and working of line follower robots were well  explained. A total of 13 students of eleventh standard from Amritha Vidyalayam, Panchikkal, Thrissur attended the training.

Dr S Swapnakumar (HoD, ECE Dept) inaugurated the program and offered his valuable technical advices to the students to develop a career in engineering sector. The program was co-ordinated by Ms Resmi K Rajan (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) with the support of  the program committee members Ms Sarika K T (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) Mr Sojan Francis (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) Ms Jemy Jose Kakkassery (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) and Ms Hima Anna Thomas (Asst Prof, ECE Dept).
