Vidya NSS Volunteer bestows with prestigious “Best Rudhirasena Co-ordinator” Award

Rudhirasena, the APJAKTU NSS Blood Cell, organized their Annual Meet on  14 June 2023 coinciding with the globally celebrated “World Blood Donors Day.” The event took place at LBS Institute Of Technology For Women in Trivandrum and attracted a remarkable gathering of NSS Volunteers from across the state.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Adv. Antony Raju (Honorable Minister of Transport, Government of Kerala). The event also had the privilege of hosting Mr G Venugopal, a renowned Playback Singer, as the guest of honor. Notable personalities including Dr. Joy Varghese (program coordinator of APJAKTU NSS CELL), Sri. Aswin Raj (Rudhirasena State Co-ordinator) and esteemed dignitaries from LBS Institute and Terumopenpol were present to grace the occasion.

The dedicated efforts of the NSS Units of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology were recognized and honored during the event. The NSS Volunteers (Sakthi S (S6, ECE Dept), Rasiya Sidhartha CS (S4, CSE Dept), Krishnanjana MD (S4, CSE Dept), Alind Wilson (S4, CSE Dept), Abhinav Seby (S4, ME Dept) received the accolades for their exceptional commitment in conducting the highest number of blood donations throughout the previous academic year.

Furthermore, Sakthi S (S6, ECE Dept) bestowed with the prestigious “Best Rudhirasena Co-ordinator” Award. This recognition was a testament to Sakthi’s active participation in Rudhirasena activities and unwavering support in promoting the noble cause of voluntary blood donation.
