Vidya NSS volunteers attend ‘Digi Keralam’ Volunteer Training Programme

Vidya NSS volunteers attend various programmes with the aim to understand and acknowledge different social  issue and spread awareness students

‘Digi Kerala’ is the mission of the Government of Kerala to make the benefits of information technology accessible to various sections of the society by acquiring basic digital literacy.

Vidya NSS volunteers participated ‘Digi Keralam’ Vellore Gram Panchayat volunteer training programme on 09 August  2024 at Vellore Gram Panchayat. The training was inaugurated by Mr T.R Shobi (Grama Panchayat President). Karmala Johnson presided over the function.  Mr T K Siddharthan (Panchayat Nodal Officer) welcomed the gathering.Mr C F Joy  (Chairman,Standing Committee), Mr Shirley Dilip (Chairperson,Standing Committee on Welfare), Mr Rajesh (Chowannur Block DG Kerala Nodal Officer), Ms Binusha Arun (Team Expert), Ms Vimala Narayanan (Team Member), Ms Subha Anilkumar (Team Member) and Ms Bindu Sharma (Team Member) participated and spoke on the occasion. Mr Suresh Pudukkulara (Panchayat Co-ordinator) proposed vote of thanks. A total of 126 volunteers Vidya students and  NSS volunteers attended the function led by Mr Rajesh S K (Programme Officer, Asso Prof, EEE Dept) .
