Big round of applause to MCA HoD on her electrifying appearance from a Student to Chief Guest

This week, with immense pleasure, the Editorial Team of News & Events, would like to draw attention of our readers about the journey of Dr Reji C Joy (HoD, MCA) from a Student to Chief Guest . Dr Reji who’s an alumna of Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukad (1998-2001 batch, Computer Science Dept) served as the Chief Guest for the Association Inauguration of the Computer Science Department of the college on 18 November 2024. Dr Reji recollects, it was a slurry of assorted feelings for this trip as it was a trip down the memory lane. To a place which laid the foundation to what she is today – Prajyoti Niketan College, her beloved Alma Mater. Dr Reji inaugurated the association and delivered an inspiring keynote address on “The future of Software Development: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities”.The address highlighted the evolving landscape of technology, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and innovation for budding computer science professionals. The programme also included a brief overview of the department’s vision for fostering creativity and technical skills among students. The insights into emerging technologies and their potential impact left a lasting impression on the audience, motivating students to aim for excellence in their academic and professional pursuits. The event witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, who expressed their gratitude to Dr Reji for sharing her knowledge and inaugurating the association’s activities for the academic year.The inauguration concluded with a vote of thanks, marking the beginning of a promising year for the Computer Science Association at Prajyoti Niketan College. Dr Reji added “I consider, Empowering and communicating ideas and knowledge to the incredible younger generation was an honour and a sense of responsibility .
