‘TENDENCY’ Alumni Meet embrace a decade of friendship with revisiting roots and rekindling memories 

A perfect venue to reunite the alumni who graduated 10 years ago and provide a platform for them to reconnect, reminisce, and rekindle old friendships. Vidya with the whole hearted support of Association of Vidya Alumni (AVA) established a practice to stay with their alumni contacts . Well enduring the tradition AVA has again organized an Alumni meet to all 2010 -14 Batch students on 22 December 2024.

Throwback 2010-14 

Vidya alumni got a chance to see what’s new on campus, listen about latest developments, and learn about new initiatives and before the official function, they assembled in their respective classrooms to reconnect with old friends, to expand their personal professional network.

Inauguration 

The event began with a welcome address by Mr Yoonus (2010 -14 Batch, EEE Dept).Dr S P Subramanian (Former Principal) inaugurated the function and wished this reunion as a great way to revive the past by giving nostalgic and recalling good previous days with past classmates and Alma mater. Dr Sunitha C (Principal) shared her joyful moment with them during their college days and stressed the role of Alumni as a great mentor for current students as they can share their insights about the competitive field for choosing better opportunities. Ms Fetsy K Francis ( (Secretary, AVA, Asst Prof, ECE Dept) who coordinated the event expressed her gratitude for their presence. Ms Fetsy presented mementos to Dr S P Subramanian and Dr Sunitha served as a reminder of their time at the institution and the impact they made on these students. The captivating compering performed by Munawar Salih( PE Department) brought the event attractive with grace and fineness

Dr Jeeva K A (HoD, AIML Dept),Dr Abhilasha P S (HoD, CE Dept), Dr Mary P Varghese (Professor & HoD, EEE Dept) and faculty members expressed their happiness to be part of this incredible opportunity to celebrate, reconnect, and reflect on an unforgettable journey. Former faculty mem?bers who handled classes for 2010-14 batch Dr Dileep K, Dr Bhavin K Bharath and Mr Arun K L evoked their memories, and reminisced about their time at the institution. Alumni who spoke on the occasion reminisced the joyful moment of reconnecting with their old friends across the globe, and the chance to revive some of the messy fun of college after a decade.In the evening, 

Announcement of Scholarship

Good-will ambassadors of Vidya have constantly shown an exceptional legacy of generosity, compassion, to advocate the traditions and for the benefit of Vidya students. 2010-14 Batch, alumni will sponsor a full fee scholarship which funds a needy student for an academic programme in Vidya. Alumni from ECE Dept also announced their half fee scholarship for two students.

Cultural Extravaganza 

Vidya hosted a concert, where talented students showcased their musical and dance performances. More than 300 attendees came together to celebrate TENDENCY, creating lasting memories for everyone gathered.
