CSE Dept organizes Industry Interaction Talk on “Generative AI in Chat and Voice Assistants: Bridging Technology and Business.”

CSE Dept conducts various initiatives with an aim to interact with industry to expose students to new technologies and engineering methodologies.

the Computer Science and Engineering Department organized an insightful Industry Interaction talk on “Generative AI in Chat and Voice Assistants: Bridging Technology and Business” on 25 January 2025,  The session was conducted online via Google Meet at 7 PM and featured Ms. Swedha Balasubramanian, (Principal Consultant, PwC India, Chennai,  2011-2015, B Tech CSE Dept) as the resource person.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Sunitha C (HoD, Dept)  who emphasized the significance of industry interactions in bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. She then introduced and welcomed Ms. Swedha Balasubramanian, a proud alumna of Vidya, who shared her inspiring journey from being a student at the institution to her current role in the industry.

During the session, Ms. Swedha Balasubramanian provided an in-depth exploration of Generative AI in Chat and Voice Assistants, discussing:

• The latest advancements in the field.
• Recent case studies highlighting real-world implementations.
