Advika 2025 enlightens the Kaleidoscope and Celebrates Heritage in Harmony through Art, Literature, Music & Dance

Proving that emphasizing art in education can enhance creativity in individuals and awaken the artist within every student, the Arts Festival ADVIKA 2025 at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology went ahead from 28 February 2025 – 01 March 2025

With the idea of learning, winning, enjoying, entertaining a unique art form and helping to preserve the cultural heritage of their country, the Senate Conveners Sangeeth K K and Salkala K S, with the full support of all departments, staff and students, organized the ADVIKA 2025

Charistmatic Performnces 

The ‘ADVIKA 2025’  featured a varied range of competitions  that enriched the cultural festival. The dance related  competition showcased individual talents and creativity in various dance forms  such as Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam, Kaeralanadanam, Kuchuppudi,  Folk Dances, Thiruvathira, Arabana, Kolkali, Margamkali Vatta Patt, Opana, Daffmut, and Folk Dance for both men and women

With an illustrious lineup of group competitions such as Panchavadyam, Chenda Melam, instrumental performances, and Thayambaka—indispensable elements of Kerala’s celebrations—the event served as a testament to the rich cultural diversity and artistic talents of the students. Mappilapat, Mimicry, Monoact, Kadhaprasangam, Patriotic song, folk song, Mime, Drama Lalithagaanam painted a combined talent and coordination, adding a vibrant and robust component to ADVIKA 2025.

Moreover, the event celebrating poetry, Kathakali Music, Malayalam Padya Parayanam, Western Music, light music, contributed to the overall triumph and charm of the festival. Additionally, the Extempore Malayalam, English and Hindi competition, essay writing competitions, versification, oil painting, photography, clay modeling provided platforms for students to showcase their capacities  and aptitudes in diverse areas such as linguistic, literary expression and visual arts.

The student community’s abilities in effective speaking, writing, and presenting in fine arts subjects such as pencil drawing, essay writing, poetry recitation, aksharaslokam, kavyakeli, quizzes, and debates were showcased at various venues.

Eminent personalities from various fields  served as judges, totaling prestige to every event. Their expertise and judgment contributed to the overall success and charm of the festival by certifying fair assessment and acknowledgment of participants’ talents.

The much-anticipated event was  unfolded by bringing together a spectacular array of artistic expressions with the logo release ceremony held at Principal’s cabin on  25 February 2025. The vibrant celebration of creativity, passion, and artistic brilliance commence with an awesome gesture of wishes  from eminent figures in the fields of arts and culture. The wishes from  Mr Sagar Surya (Malayalam Film Actor) and Ms Malavika Anilkumar (Playback singer) left  a lasting impact on everyone who experiences its magic

The Arts Festival 2025 was a grand celebration of ingenuity, culture, and artistic expression. A dedicated and vibrant team under the leadership of Mr. Sangeeth K. K. (Senate Faculty Convener, Asst. Prof., ME Dept.) and Ms. Salkala K. S. (Senate Faculty Convener, Asst. Prof., MCA) played a vital role in organizing and executing the event, ensuring its success throughout meticulous planning, coordination, and implementation. The vibrant team played a pivotal role in making the Arts Festival a grand success, showcasing creativity, dedication, and teamwork in bringing art, literature, music, and dance to life.
