First Steps towards the Next Generation of Innovation with V-THINC Mini Project Exhibition

Providing first-year students with an opportunity to exhibit their technical intellect and creativity offers an excellent platform for them to showcase the culmination of their hard work, innovation, and ingenuity in diverse fields.”

The V-THINC (Vidya’s Talking, Hearing &Integrating kNowledge Club) under the auspices of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center (IEDC), Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) VAST Chapter provided a platform for first year students to showcase their innovative projects, apply their technical knowledge, and gain practical experience in their respective fields on 27  March 2025.

The mini project exhibition showcased an impressive array of innovative and creative projects created by first year MCA and B.Tech students. The event aimed at giving  basic idea of mini project to first year  students and motivate them to solve and implement predefined practical problems.Students developed attributes like team work, practical approach and was able to use their academic knowledge for practical purpose which will definitely help them in future

More than 70  students were excited to participate in the event and shared their research findings, project outcomes, and innovative ideas with their peers, and faculty members and it is evaluated. The judges Dr Abitha M A (Asso Prof, ECE Dept),Ms Jensy Babu (Asst.Prof, CSE Dept) and Mr Naveen T P (Asst.Prof, ME Dept) assessed their  projects and the best 3 projects with  creativity, communication, problem solving and teamwork were  awarded with cash prizes.

Prizes were distributed for the winners by Mr Suresh Lal (Executive Director, VICT).
