The entire Vidya fraternity is delighted to welcome Dr. Sunitha C (Vice Principal, HoD, CSE Dept) as she steps into her new role as Principal. This marks an exhilarating and inspiring time for the institution, as her appointment brings with it the promise of fresh perspectives and a renewed educational ethos. Her appointment ushers in an exciting new chapter, filled with the promise of innovative leadership and a reinvigorated academic spirit . Dr. Sunitha C Dr. Sunitha has been at the helm as Principal-in-Charge since May 2024, guiding Vidya with dedication and vision. Since August 2023, Dr. Sunitha C has been poised to lead Vidya to new academic heights as Vice Principal, embarking on a mission to shape academic excellence at the institution. Dr. Sunitha is an accomplished academician and passionate educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience. She began her academic journey in Computer Science and Engineering at Government Engineering College,Thrissur, and went on to complete her M.Tech at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). Her academic pursuits culminated in a Ph.D awarded on 29 December 2021 by B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology (Deemed to be University) for her research titled: “A Pragmatic Approach Towards Automatic Summarization of Malayalam Documents using Clause Identification and Sentence Framing Method.” Dr. Sunitha’s journey at Vidya began in August 2003 as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Her organizational skills and dedication have been instrumental in the successful conduct of several prestigious events including the Graduation Ceremony, Scholarship Functions, DB Day, and Brahmasmrithi. Prior to her tenure at Vidya, Dr Sunitha enriched her academic journey by serving as a lecturer in various Polytechnic institutions. She has numerous publications to her credit in both national and international journals, and has presented her research at several esteemed academic conferences.
