The call of “Python for all” resonates in Vidya!
It was early in the academic year 2019-20 that a decision was taken to give a basic training in the Python programming language to all newly admitted students of the B Tech programmes. The decision was hinged on the general perception that an exposure to this language was likely to open up more career opportunities for them and would help them to be better prepared for their future careers. Accordingly, under the overall supervision of the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) in Vidya, an intensive hands-on training in the Python programming language for all the students to B Tech programmes in 2019 was launched and the faculty members of Vidya enthusiastically implemented the project.
Then Covid fell upon us and nothing could be done during the academic year 2020-21.
