EEE faculty members excel in NPTEL certification on Solar Energy Engineering

The Dept  of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) has added yet another academic milestone to its record, with four faculty members successfully completing the NPTEL Online Certification Course on “Solar Energy Engineering and Technology.” Their achievement reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to strengthening expertise in renewable energy technologies and promoting continuous professional development among its faculty.

The faculty members who achieved the certification are Mr Krishnakumar M (Asst Prof – Sr. Grade, EEE Dept), Mr Arun Xavier (Asst Prof- Sr. Grade,,EEE Dept), Ms Sheeja G (Asst Prof ,EEE Dept) and  Ms  Priya K P (Asst Prof ,EEE Dept)

The NPTEL course, offered by premier IITs under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, covers advanced concepts in solar photovoltaic systems, solar thermal technologies, and the scientific principles behind solar energy conversion. The certification requires rigorous coursework, weekly assignments, and a proctored examination.

Among the achievers, Mr. Krishnakumar M received special recognition with an Elite ranking, showcasing exceptional performance in the course.
