Vidya EEE faculty members successfully complete FDP on High-Impact Journal Publishing

The faculty members of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Vidya Academy of Science & Technology, have added another milestone to their academic and professional development by successfully completing a prestigious Five-Day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Writing and Publishing in High Impact Journals: From Idea to Publication.”

The FDP was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mahaguru Institute of Technology, Kayamkulam, and held from 21 November 2025 to 26 November 2025. The programme aimed to empower faculty members with essential skills for writing, structuring, and publishing high?quality research papers in reputed journals.

Four faculty members from the EEE Department participated and earned their certificates.Four faculty members from the Department actively participated in the program and successfully earned their certificates. The participants included Dr. Latha Dinesh (Prof,EEE,Dept), Mr. Rajesh S. K (Asso Prof.,EEE Dept), Ms. Anooja V.S (Asst. Prof – Sr. Grade,EEE Dept) and Ms. Akhila R (Asst. Prof – Sr. Grade, EEE Dept).

The FDP covered critical components such as research methodology, effective academic writing, ethics in publishing, journal selection, manuscript preparation, plagiarism avoidance, and navigating peer-review processes. Expert speakers provided valuable insights into enhancing research quality and ensuring successful journal publication.

The participation of Vidya’s faculty members reflects the institution’s steadfast commitment to strengthening research culture, enhancing publication quality and encouraging faculty to contribute meaningfully to the global academic community.
