Vidya Staff Club organizes farewell to Mr. Manu P R

Vidya’s academic excellence is driven by a committed team of staff members who consistently foster learning and empower students to realize their full potential.

To express institutional gratitude, honor valuable service, and bid a warm farewell to Mr. Manu P R (Assistant Professor in Economics, Department of Applied Science), the Vidya Staff Club organized a farewell gathering on 30 June 2026.

The gathering began with an opening address by Ms. Surabhi M. S. (Asst Librarian), who cordially welcomed the attendees and highlighted Mr. Manu’s exemplary character as a supportive colleague, his spiritual outlook, and his significant institutional contributions. Following this, Ms. Nimya M. G. (Joint Secretary, Vidya Staff Club & Trade Instructor, AS Dept) spoke warmly about his outstanding work ethic, noting his distinct ability to manage tasks with precision and unwavering dedication. Delivering the presidential remarks, Dr. Sunitha C. (Principal) addressed the gathering and expressed the institution’s profound gratitude while fondly sharing personal anecdotes about their shared commuting routes and praising his invaluable service over the years.

In an affectionate address,  Dr Nisha A B (HoD, AS Dept) reflected on her rewarding professional journey and his contributions to exam cell . Ms Resmi K. Rajan (Asst. Prof – Sr. Grade, ECE Dept) commended Mr. Manu  for his dedicated teaching, collaborative spirit and positive energy within the institution . Ms Ida David (Asst. Prof – Seln. Grade, AS Dept)  further paid tribute to Mr. Manu long and distinguished career, recalling fond moments and expressed  deep gratitude for his exceptional dedication, precision, and lasting contributions.As a token of honor and appreciation for his remarkable service, Dr. Sunitha C. presented a memento to Mr. Manu.

Delivering his response, Mr. Manu conveyed sincere thanks to the department and peers for their continuous encouragement. Reflecting on her years at the institution, she highlighted how the collaborative environment and strong sense of community deeply enriched her personal and professional growth.
