Vidya spreads its wings: Holds a Career Guidance Programme at Pattambi

Vidya is spreading its wings.

The College organized a Career Guidance Programme (CGP) at Pattambi on 02 June 2018 with the cooperation of Probrains, a leading entrance coaching center at Pattambi. The objective of the programme was to honour the outstanding performers in the plus-two examinations and to provide some help and guidance in planning a meaningful career to  both current and passed out students of Probrains. As many as 130 students and some of their parents attended the programme. Mr. Sainudheen Master, Director of Probrains delivered the welcome speech. Sri V T Balram (Hon’ble MLA, Thrithala) inaugurated the function with a wonderful speech. The engineering colleges in Kerala should turn into centres of excellence remarked Sri Balram. He added that India should follow the example of China in the utilisation of human resources. He awarded the trophy and certificate of merit to the top scored student (1200/1200). Sri U K Menon, one of Vidya’s advisors for the admission campaign in Malapuram District gave felicitation. Dr Justine Jose, Convener of the Programme proposed a vote of thanks. Mr. Hareesh K (AP, ME Dept) gave a very motivating talk on “Srishtikkam Ningalude Lokam” (You Can Create Your World). Students were also given individual career counseling sessions.  At the end of the programme, trophies and certificates were distributed to around 45 students by Mr. Sainudheen Master.
