Health awareness class for NSS volunteers

The NSS units of the College, in association with the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Velur, organized a Health Awareness Class at the premises of the Primary Health Cente on 07.06.2018. As many as 50 NSS volunteers attended the programme. The main focus of the class was to create awareness about the common diseases that appear during the monsoon season, their easily noticeable symptoms, methods that could be adopted to prevent oneself from getting affected by these diseases and some ideas about making preliminary diagnoses of these diseases.

Mr. Vijay (Health Inspector, PHC, Velur) delivered the welcome speech. Dr. Vineeth (Assistant Surgeon) talked about the health related matters.  Vishnu P C and Sreelakshmi C R, NSS volunteers,  shared their feedback about the session. Mr. Bekker, Junior Health Inspector, delivered the vote of thanks.
