EEE Dept completes PMKVYcourse to train Electrician Domestic Solutions
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
Vidya is an authorized training provider under PMKVY. The EEE Dept of Vidya successfully completed a 350-hour course to enable youth to take up the job role of Electrician Domestic Solutions. The course was completed on 15 march 2019. The course was coordinated by Mr Vishnu Rach K.R (AP, EEE Dept), Mr. Jayaraj K V (Trade Instructor, EEE dept) and Mr Shibin P V (Trade Instructor, EEE Dept).
 Those who have successfully completed the course can carry out all sorts of troubleshooting in electrical circuits of domestic wiring, fault repair, alterations, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment installed in households. They will also be able to execute domestic wiring with earthing, tests the condition of wiring with meggar, trouble shoot the problems in domestic wiring, provide connections to electrical appliances, trouble shoot problems in domestic appliances and service them etc. To know more about the course, click HERE. |
