Through the submission of a piece of news to News & Events, Dr V N Krishnachandran (Vice-Principal, Prof and Head of MCA Dept) reported that an invention by his son Navaneeth Vengallur, working in Honeywell, Bangalore, along with four others had been granted a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The patent was awarded to the invention “Method and system for co-operative intelligent HMIs for effective process operations”. The patent application had been filed by Honeywell International Inc., Morristown (NJ), US, and patent was awarded to Honeywell International Inc.
