Prof Ajit Kumar from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, visits Vidya

Dr Ajit Kumar, Professor of Mathematics, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, is an expert in computer algebra  systems, especially in the highly powerful system known by the name SageMath.  SageMath is a free and open source software. He has published three books dealing with applications of SageMath in different areas of mathematics. Prof Ajit Kumar was in Vidya on 3 – 4 January 2020 as a specially invited resource person for the ongoing AICTE Sponsored FDP on CAS in the MCA Dept of Vidya. His sessions were very illuminating and interactive and all participants greatly enjoyed his presentations.
