Vidya’s NSS units’ continuing saga of success stories: Selected for State awards for the fourth consecutive year
The saga of success stories of the NSS units of Vidya continues. The latest in a series of such stories is the selection of the units, one of the Programme Officer and one of the volunteers as the best in the respective fields in Kerala State!
The NSS units of Vidya have been selected for three State Awards for their activities in 2019 – 20. This is the fourth consecutive year in which Vidya’s NSS units are receiving State Awards.

Major activities of the NSS units considered for the awards included Home for Homeless scheme, GIS mapping, OpenStreet mapping, Punarjjani for renovating Government hospitals, effective organization of NSS camps and participation in other government initiatives.
