EEE students’ cost-effective ‘Electric Go-kart’ wins second prize in project expo

Electric Go-karts are a type of racing car that runs with the help of an electric motor without any emissions. They also introduced solar charging as an additional charging feature for the vehicle.

Akshay V (S8, EEE Dept), Brindha Shaju (S8, EEE Dept), Sanju Paulson (S8, EEE Dept), Jithu John K (S8, EEE Dept) who presented their final year project on the design and fabrication of a cost-effective electric go-kart at the expo stand among the crowd with second prize.The team was guided by Ms Sheeja G (Asst Prof, EEEDept).
