AI ML conducts webinar on ‘AI and Machine Learning Mastery: Pioneering Careers in the Future’

Vidya offers its students a broad education in engineering with the aim of enabling them to design, in specialized area. The Dept of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organized a webinar titled “AI and Machine Learning Mastery: Pioneering Careers in the Future” on 28 May 2023 through Google Meet.

The webinar was conducted for the prospective students of the department with an aim to provide an insight into the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and discussed the potential career opportunities in this rapidly evolving domain.Ms Veena Raju (Project Manager-Tech Mahindra) and an expert in AI and ML technologies was the resource person for the webinar.

The webinar commenced at 11:00 am with an outline of the webinar, followed by a warm welcome speech by Dr Sunitha C (HoD, AIML Dept. Ms. Veena Raju initiated the session by presenting an overview of AI and ML, explaining its significance in various industries and also its potential to shape the future. The speaker emphasized the increasing demand for professionals skilled in AI and ML, as these technologies become integral parts of various industries. Ms Veena reiterated that students who develop expertise in AI and ML have a plethora of career options available, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, AI researchers, and AI consultants.

Following the presentation, there was a dedicated question-and-answer session where the participants had the opportunity to seek clarification and ask specific questions related to AI and ML and its carrier opportunities. Ms Veena provided detailed responses, sharing her expertise and experiences, and encouraging the participants to explore the field further. The session successfully introduced the students to the potential career opportunities in AI and ML, and provided valuable insights into the skills required to excel in this domain.
