The report outlines the details of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Thrissur and PIE Builders and Developers.
Enhancing site exposure for civil engineering students is crucial for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The key objectives include:
- Practical Application of Theory – Reinforce classroom learning by providing real-world construction site experiences.
- Hands-on Training – Develop technical skills through direct involvement in surveying, material testing, structural analysis, and site management.
- Understanding Construction Processes – Gain insights into project execution, from planning and design to construction and maintenance.

The MoU was signed by Dr Sunitha C (Principal) and Mr AthulKrishna V K (Managing Diector Director, Pie Builders and Developers, Korechal,Thrissur) on 13 March 2025 . Dr Abhilasha P S (Professor & HoD, CE Dept) led this initiative.
