The foundation stone laying ceremony of VAST Technical Campus

The foundation stone laying ceremony of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus, Kilimanoor was held in the Town hall auditorium of Kilimanoor, Trivandarum on 07/10/2011 at 4.00 pm . Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram Sri Vakkom B Puroshaman formally inaugurated the function. Advocate A. Sampath, MP, Attingal Constituency, was the Chief Guest.

Our Founder Chairman Sri K Muralidharan, delivered the welcome address and Sri P K Asokan, Chairman VICT briefed on the Vision and Mission of VICT. The project report was delivered by Sri R Devarajan, Projects Director.

Sri. K.C. Joseph, Minister for Non Resident Keralites Affairs delivered the Keynote address. Sri. Vakkom B Purushothaman, Governor of Mizoram, laid the foundation stone for the VICT’ssecond engineering college and applaudedthe principles set by VICT trustees in the admission processes in both Management and Merit seats of Vidya College, Thrissur. He also urged VICT to set similar principles for the functioning of Kilimanoor College.

Facilitation were done by Advocate B Sathyan (MLA, Attingal), Sri MM Hassan (former Minister for Non- Resident Keralites), Sri Varkala Kahar (MLA, Varkala), Smt. Ramani P Nair (District Panchayat President), Kilimanoor Chandrababu (SNDP Vice-president), Adv Thajudeen Ahamed (Kilimanoor Block Panchyat President), Sri.KG Prince (Kilimanoor Grama Panchyat President), Sri.Ravindran Unnithan (Madavoor Grama Panchyat President), Smt. RP Rajithaa (District Gramma Panchyat Member), Smt Manju Prasad (Kilimanoor Block Panchyat Membe) and Smt S Pushpamani (Kilimanoor Grama Panchyat Member).
