College joins hands with Kerala Kaumudi and Excise Dept to organise Seminar on Drug Abuse Awareness

The NSS units of Vidya, in association with the Kerala Kaumudi daily newspaper and the Excise Department of Govt of Kerala,  organized a Seminar on Drug/Substance Abuse Awareness on 14 February 2019 at Pranavam Auditorium in the College. Mr Prabhu Warrier (Bureau Chief, Kerala Kaumudi) gave the welcome address. Mr M R Ajith Kumar (IG) inaugurated the function by lighting the traditional lamp and gave the inaugural address. Dr Saji C B (Principal, VAST) delivered the presidential address. The special address was delivered by Mr N S Saleemkumar (Excise Joint Commissioner). Mr. T K Sajeevkumar (Excise Circle Inspector), Er G Mohanachandran (Executive Director, VICT), Mr Sureshlal (Finance Director, VICT) and Mr N S Kiran (Unit Chief, Kerala Kaumudi) felicitated the event.  The main talk of the  Seminar was delivered by the resource person Mr Ramachandran (Preventive Officer, Excise Department). All students and faculty members of of Vidya participated in the Seminar.
