Vyvidh ‘20 team meets the media
The organising team of Vidya’s tech-fest Vyvidh ’20 organised a press conference on 11 February 2020 at the Kunnamkulam Press Club. Representatives of about 18 TV channels and newspapers attended the conference. The college Vyvidh ’20 team comprising of faculty members Prof Krishnakumar M (Convener, Vyvidh ’20), Prof Arun K L (Media) and Ms Honey Mol (Joint Convener, Vyvidh ’20) and a student representative Hemanth Janesh (S8 B Tech (CSE)) attended the press meet.
Prof Krishnakumar spoke about the purpose of the tech-fest and the main events and programmes being organised as part of it. He explained that it is a festival organized by the students and faculty members of Vidya jointly. It was one such event where young brains get a chance to showcase their skills and compete with others to find the best. Ms Honeymol mentioned the details of the main events like Avishkar, Navayuva, Nirmana, Paperenza and Shot It Up. Most the reporters wanted to know more about the photography contest, “Shot It Up” and the student representative Hemanth gave an account on it. Mr Arun K L spoke about the main events organised by the various departments. He also mentioned the launching ceremony of official website https://www.vidyaacademy.ac.in/vyvidh/ and of the brochure by Prof C Ravindranath (Hon’ble Education Minister) at Minister’s office on 02 February 2020 and also the promo video launch at college auditorium on 06 February 2020. All the attendees were invited to attend the techno-cultural fest of Vidya, Vyvidh ’20.
